Farm Rental for Photography
Farm Rental for Photography
We are thrilled to offer our farm as a location to capture your most treasured memories!
Our farm is the perfect backdrop for photos including:
Families
High School Senior Photos
Maternity
Children
Engagement
Depending on the season we have our large flower field, meandering paths through the forest, long rock walls, old oak and maple trees, perennials gardens, fern-lined gravel paths, our signature yellow barn doors, quintessential white farmhouse porch with rocking chairs and benches, a large grassy lawn surrounded by trees and twinkle lights, gorgeous Fall foliage, and the most beautiful golden hours. Our farm offers so many special outdoor locations throughout the Summer and Fall seasons.
Photography sessions include almost unlimited access to our entire grounds, the front of the farmhouse and porch, and around the barn.
Each session is one hour and based on one subject being photographed (one family, one senior, one couple, etc.). If you are a photographer looking to do consecutive mini-sessions for multiple clients, please contact us so we may find the best days and times for you.
Photography Sessions are available August, September, and October on Sunday and Monday evenings between 4 - 7:00 PM, depending on the season and when the sun is setting.
Upon check out, please select the month and day you would like, and we will follow up to schedule the exact day and time that works well for you and your photographer.
Please consider the following before you select your month. Keep in mind we do not have gardens in full bloom with peak foliage, and you have to decide between one or the other.
August - All gardens and flower fields in bloom. The grass and trees are vibrant green. Evenings are warm.
September - Gardens are still in bloom, but starting to change. Leaves will start changing towards the end of the month. Starting to get chilly.
October - Most gardens are done blooming, but there is still interest in the gardens. Peak foliage will happen mid-month, and continue to look beautiful until the end. Can get cold once the sun sets behind the trees.
During your Photography Session, please remember:
The farm is our personal property and we have worked so hard to be able to share it with you! Please be respectful so we may continue to share it with you.
Photographers and clients must respect all the flowers in the fields and gardens. Please stay on all paths in the flower field, and do not cross through or stand in the middle of rows.
Photographers and clients may not pick any flowers. If you would like a bouquet during your photos, we are happy to provide that for an extra fee.
No boudoir sessions or similar are permitted at this time. Thank you.
Please park in the designated parking area by following the signs. Parking on the road is not permitted.
Photographers and their clients must check in at the farmhouse before their session begins. We will gladly give you a tour of the grounds and show you the best spots for photos. We will be available to answer any questions.
A Release of Liability will be sent to you before your session and must be signed prior to your session starting.
Garden Gate at Haley Farm is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to equipment or belongings while on the property.
Restrooms are available in the barn.
Immediate departure once your photography session is over is required.
We would love for you to tag @gardengatemaine in any photos you share as well!
